Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy

Challenges arise at every stage of life; many, we overcome on our own. There are times when it's extremely helpful to have the support of a trained professional - someone who is non-judgmental, keeps your conversations private, has years of education, training and experience, and can help you see the situation and your options from a new, unbiased perspective.

Imagine yourself as a ship captain sailing stormy seas with an expert navigator to help you. Someone committed to your well-being, with you at every step, there to help you understand the challenges ahead of you and how to overcome each one to reach your chosen destination.

Evidence-based treatments. There are many types of mental health treatment. Therapists at CrossPath in Sammamish use evidence-based treatments. Evidence-based treatments are those for which there is scientific evidence of their effectiveness. Most of these treatments are ones which have been studied over many years with thousands of patients; the scientific evidence is strong and clear that they are effective.

Our therapists have specialized training and experience working with youth and families. We provide individual counseling and family counseling for the following situations, using treatment that has been shown to be effective and create changes.

Some of the evidence-based practices our fully licensed clinicians have training in are:

Therapists at CrossPath also support clients by communicating with other professionals who are working with our clients, including school guidance counselors, Sammamish community mental health agencies, the City of Sammamish, and therapists in other specialties areas.
